What is Cataracts?

“A cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens of your eye. For people who have cataracts, seeing through cloudy lenses is a bit like looking through a frosty or fogged-up window. Clouded vision caused by cataracts can make it more difficult to read, drive a car (especially at night) or see the expression on a friend’s face.
Most cataracts develop slowly and don’t disturb your eyesight early on. But with time, cataracts will eventually interfere with your vision.”

Most doctors will blame aging or genetics as the cause of cataracts, however there are so many factors to consider when it comes to your vision such as the nerve supply, blood supply, nutrient deficiency, and toxic exposure. There are several causes of cataracts that should be relatively easy to solve such as corticosteroid medications, excessive amounts of alcohol, and smoking. If you’re exposing your body to any of these then it’s time to make some drastic dietary and lifestyle changes.

Your best options would be a combination of dietary changes to get the nutrients you need to promote healing, chiropractic care to stimulate brain function, and vision correction exercises.

Let’s start with chiropractic. Not all chiropractors are the same, in fact, very few chiropractor (less than 10%) practice techniques for spinal correction. It can be extremely difficult to find a decent chiropractor, but you can use the 7 questions in this video to find the best possible chiropractor in your area.

Nutrient deficiency and an unhealthy lifestyle are huge contributors to the development of cataracts so a good start would be making all the dietary and lifestyle changes I explain in this video:
