In case you missed my video on Celiac Disease, here it is:

What is Celiac Disease?

“Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that can occur in genetically predisposed people where the ingestion of gluten leads to damage in the small intestine.”
Celiac Disease Foundation

As you probably learned from my video on celiac disease, this condition is not genetic and there are many factors involved including the health of your microflora. There are so many things that can negatively affect your microflora, however the most important are the following:

GMO and Glyphosate Contaminated food
Packaged or Processed food
Non-Organic Meat (typical fed GMO food)
Avoid food labeled “Natural” or “All Natural”

You can optimize your gut flora with the following diet:

Organic plant based diet (Locally grown, seasonal foods)
Healthy fats such as coconut oil and olive oil
Fermented Vegetables
Probiotic Supplements
Juice Vegetables
Blend Fruits
Raw Dairy
Decrease Omega 6’s and Increase Animal based Omega 3’s

Here’s a video if you’d like to learn more about all the dietary and lifestyle changes necessary for optimal health:

Obviously probiotics will be essential to restoring your microflora, but what would be even better than a probiotic supplement would be to consume properly fermented foods. One spoonful of fermented foods like sauerkraut contain more probiotics than an entire bottle of probiotic supplements. You can learn more about this in the video below:

Once you’ve completely restored your digestive system function you can begin to incorporate grains back into your diet, but it’s extremely important to only consume organic and preferably sprouted grains. Here’s a list of all the healthy grains that are safe to consume:
