What is Cystinosis?
Cystinosis is a metabolic disease that cystine (an amino acid) to accumulate in various organs of the body. Cystine crystals usually accumulate in the kidneys, eyes, liver, muscles, pancreas, brain, and even blood cells.
Most doctors will tell you that this disorder is genetic, but as we know genetics only play a very small role in disease because of something called “Genetic Expression.” If you haven’t heard of genetic expression or epigenetics, here’s a video:
Since we aren’t slaves to our genetics and our bodies can express or suppress genes for diseases like this one, you might be wondering what the true cause of this and other “genetic” diseases are. Since this condition normally occurs in children under the age of 2 we absolutely must look at vaccinations and other possible toxic exposures as well as nutrient deficiencies and a traumatic birth process. We also must consider the health of the parents including toxic exposures and nutrients deficiencies. Here’s a video that explains why we’re seeing such a rise in diseases in our children, in fact, about 50% (1 in 2) children now have a chronic disease and this number is constantly rising.
The first step would be to completely avoid any further vaccinations because these will only further damage the body, especially the immune system. The second step will be correcting any nutrient deficiencies to give the child everything they need to heal and function properly. It’s extremely important to avoid most infant formulas which usually contain genetically modified soy and other potentially harmful ingredients. If the child is still young enough for breastfeeding then the best option would be to continue breastfeeding. If the child is old enough eating solid or semi-solid food, then it’s time to switch to an organic plant based diet. Here’s a video that explains exactly what kind of diet is necessary to promote healing and optimal health:
Since this child may have been exposed to vaccinations, antibiotics, toxins, and possibly many medications, the next step to healing is always detoxing the body because all of these can negatively affect your organ systems and especially the digestive system.

And of course chiropractic care would be fantastic to stimulate the nervous system which promotes healing and normal function of the organ systems. Most people don’t realize that children need chiropractic care just as much as adults. If the child was born in a hospital, it’s very likely that they suffered severe birth trauma, especially if a c-section was performed. Luckily children heal incredibly quickly but they absolutely need chiropractic care.
