What is SIBO?

“Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), defined as excessive bacteria in the small intestine. Patients with SIBO vary in presentation, from being only mildly symptomatic to suffering from chronic diarrhea, weight loss, and malabsorption.”
Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology
