Ulcerative Colitis is a chronic inflammatory response to toxins in food and the environment such as vaccinations, antibiotics, and medications.

The key is to reduce inflammation and promote healing through the body’s natural processes. First, make sure you take care of the basics like proper nutrition, sleep, and exercise. You should be on an organic plant based diet and avoid any packaged/processed food as well as any meat, even organic meat. Meat causes an inflammatory response in the digestive system. Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water every day as this will decrease inflammation. Proper water intake is half your bodyweight in ounces, so a 200lb person needs at least 100 ounces of water every day. Here’s a video on water in case you’re interested in learning more:

Sleep is incredibly important and I have many videos that discuss the importance of sleep in the healing process. Watch my videos on sleep and make sure you’re getting proper REM sleep every night.

Make sure you always have these basic principles down because this will aid in the healing process and will have to be continued for the rest of your life to maintain optimal health. Like I explain at the end of every video, the 5 keys to Health are: nervous system, proper nutrition, proper exercise, proper sleep, and prayer/meditation.

Now for the good stuff…. Juicing and blending are extremely effective in healing UC. Juicing vegetables and blending fruits will decrease inflammation throughout the body and especially in the digestive system. If you don’t have a juicer or don’t know how to juice, I have several videos that explain this in detail. Juicing/blending breaks down the food to make it easier on your digestive system and helps nutrients to be absorbed much faster into your body. Short term and long term juice fasts have been extremely beneficial in treating UC and many other conditions. If you’ve never done a juice fast before, I recommend you start with a 3-7 day juice fast where you’re drinking around 20-30lbs of veggies in juice form. This will flood your body with healing nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and healthy bacteria. Following a juice fast with a hydro-colonic is also very beneficial for flushing out toxins in the large intestine. This is the fastest way to heal UC and is extremely effective. Even after the UC has been resolved, you should be juicing and blending on a daily basis to prevent any issues in the future.

Finally, you can’t forget about the nervous system because properly nerve supply to the digestive system will be an important part of the healing process. The best option would be to find a corrective chiropractor that can analyze your spine and nervous system, identify the specific problems, and correct them accordingly. Make sure you find a chiropractor with the skills necessary to reshape the structure of the spine, restore normal biomechanics, and stimulate the nervous system to promote healing and normal function.
